The course venue is at Kinchant Water's Resort, Kinchant Dam.
Kinchant Dam is located approximately 41 kilometres
west of Mackay.
To get to Kinchant Dam:
- Travel west from Mackay through Walkerston on the Peak Downs Highway.
- Turn right off the Peak Downs Highway just before Eton onto the North Eton Road.
- Once at North Eton follow the signs to the dam.
When you arrive at the dam keep to the left and follow the road past the boat ramp. Once past the boat ramp you will see a cattle grid and a dirt road leading into Kinchant Waters Resort.
Please meet me at the resorts bar/canteen area prior to the course beginning. The bar is situated on your left as you come into the resort grounds. There is a public phone box close to where the bar is situated.
Please park at the bottom of the hill off the road as there is not a lot of parking space near the bar area.
